- Council Tool's Sledge Hammer is designed to be used in heavy hammer applications for striking wood, concrete, metal, and stone.
- Sledge hammer features two symmetrical and opposing faces. Common uses are drifting heavy timbers and striking spikes, cold chisels, rock drills and hardened nails.
- Heads are forged with American Steel and wood handles are made from American Hickory
- Hammer heads are heat treated after turning, providing a superior tool head
